Essay:

Nowadays, the science section has made a great contribution to the development of our society. Historically some countries, for instance United States and Russia, have keep scientific discoveries secrets from other countries to improve only their own countries’ economics, industries, cultures and so on, whereas others may disagree with that. In my view, it is helpful for all countries to spread their findings of researches over the world. (68 words)

To begin with, openness of new scientific ideas produces the innovation on the existing science world. Firstly, difference of cultural background behind each researcher inspires them each other to get the scientific ideas, even the way to build research questions. For instance, Egyptians might be surprised to Japanese perspective on nature, wabisabi in Japanese, in which Japanese naturally respect nature around them such as high mountains, flowers, rivers, and oceans. This idea is presumably unusual for Egyptians, thus it may break their common sense of the way to coexist with nature. If researchers can get a new perspective of their science field from others behind different cultural background, they can come up with innovative ideas and it is helpful to make a great progress of science for all countries. Secondly, the closure of findings of researches within one county leads to the wrong way for pursuing the truth. Generally exclusive group produces the hierarchy depends on one measurement such as their ability. Over times its top layer has been fixed in position and grown to authority. This situation causes many ingroup member respect for authority and disturbs them to accurate the top layer to protect their authority. On the other hand, flexibility and openness across groups or countries allows people to criticize their own opinions. That promotes suspecting others’ opinions and leads human beings to the truth. In short, it is integral to prevail the scientific discoveries without boundaries. (239 words)

Furthermore, exposing researchers to the global competitive situation motivates all of them to work harder than the one that keeps scientific discoveries secrets. If government allows research institutes or research-oriented universities to share their research findings over the world, it is possible for all human beings to build up the same knowledge baseline as the country which gets firstly the discoveries, and for researchers to heat up their work harder than the case every country conceals their scientific properties. Give a famous example, the development for space exploration. United States is one of the top countries to develop the powerful rockets or artificial satellites enough to overcome the force of gravity to reach orbital velocities. To the pathway to become a top country, United States have corroborated with other countries like Japan. Because these countries were permitted to gain the highest technology at that time, all researchers were stimulated to work much harder not to lose each other, making it possible for them all to develop their technology for flying into space. Therefore, there is no doubt that never keeping scientific discoveries secrets leads competitive situation for researchers, stimulates them to work harder, and contributes to the high-speed development of the technology.                  In summary, the government should open their properties of scientific researches to the rest of the world. Not only will stimulate the innovation on the previous science world, but also this prompts all researchers to engage with their researches. To spread new knowledges and perspectives without the countries’ boundaries helps all researchers to make progress for exploiting the unknown scientific world. (61 words)
